"It is your duty!" The reckoning words of Lucifer bound through the demon ears of Obizoth. He was a demon charged with the duty to cater souls from the living world to Purgatory to be judged. One such case would be Obizoth's last job. A young girl named Xanpha had just been tragically taken from the world, a terrible car accident left her body tattered and destroyed. Obizoth came to her and when their eyes met he knew what he must do. He tried to save the young girl, a forbidden act for a demon to interact with a humans life. However, there were consequences, but not for Obizoth. Lucifer caught him in his good deed, and instead punished her for his misdoing. Lucifer made Xanpha immortal, forever to walk the plains of Purgatory alone, never moving to the afterlife. Obizoth refused to let this come to pass and made a deal with Lucifer, giving up his immortality to allow her to live once again. Lucifer agreed and sent them both back to earth as mortals, forever bound to each other from their darkness...
